On Tuesday, February 24th, the Yale Club of Los Angeles will host a gathering to discuss Yale University’s expansion into entrepreneurism, in particular, the formation of the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute (YEI).
What began as a stand-alone 10-week summer program in 2007 that has since expanded into a year-round University organization, the Institute’s core mission is to help undergraduate and graduate Yale students start scalable new ventures (http://yei.yale.edu/).
Come hear from YEI’s managing director, Jim Boyle, talk about the progression of the program: how/why the institute was formed, successes and failures to date, and future strategy.
