Mental health continues to be deprioritized and stigmatized despite growing recognition that mental and physical health are inextricably linked.  Suicide remains as one of the leading causes of death for teenagers, and mental health illnesses are too frequently left undiagnosed or untreated.  Fortunately, a national conversation on the importance of mental health is building.  How are Yale alums addressing mental health in our community?  What the the key mental heath challenges in the Bay Area.  How can individuals help?  What careers are possible in the mental health arena?  Please join a panel of Yalies for a discussion to learn more.  Light refreshments willbe provided.

Moderator: Crysta Krames
Director of Community Resources at Family and Children Services of Silicon Valley

Panelists:

  • Lousie Langheier, CEO/Co-founder, Peer Health Exchange
