Cantab DC Burns Night 2020
The one and only - Robbie Burns.
Celebrate this Traditional Salute to Scottish Heritage with an Address to the Haggis!

Do you remember those cold January nights in Cambridge? Perhaps you also remember an overly keen Scottish student trying to drag you out of your cozy room to a night of poetry and light-hearted banter? Well, it's about to happen again!

**For the first time this decade** Cantab DC will be celebrating Burns Night in our own unique and highly popular way! Join dozens of your fellow alumn in a light-hearted evening that celebrates the life and poetry of the Bard of Scotland. There will be British food, original and auld poetry, great conversation and a Haggis!

The evening will take place at International Student House on 1825 R St NW, Washington, DC 20009. The attire is smart casual - Tartan and Kilts encouraged!

Tickets are $78 & PayPayl fees. The ticket covers a selection of British dishes to be offered for the main, a taste of Haggis & a Scotch toast, Highland Bread Pudding for dessert, and coffee/tea. The selection of British dishes for the main will be a buffet medley including standard and vegetarian options. Should you have any food allergies, please be in touch at

Ticket prices will rise as we get closer to the date of the event. Please note that we cannot offer refunds, tickets are non-transferable, and all purchases are final.

Feel free to take a look at this year's programme and see who is coming on Facebook this year. We look forward to seeing you there!
